Oral Presentations
Short Oral presentations and EYPS presentations may not exceed 15 minutes in duration (10 minute talk plus 5 for questions/discussion). General guidelines for presentation are: eight slides per presentation.
Invited lectures (exempt of Keynote lectures) may not exceed 30 minutes in duration (25 minute talk plus 5 min discussion).

An LCD projector and a computer (MS Windows XP) with a CD-ROM drive, USB ports, and presentation software MS PowerPoint will be available in all conference rooms for lecture presentations.
Please note that lecturers must either bring their own laptop computer with the appropriate presentation software loaded, or bring a CD or USB memory key containing their presentation. 

Poster Presentations
Poster size: 0.90 meter wide x 1.20 meter high (portrait format).
Posters presentations will take place in Friday 13th (Poster Session IV), Saturday 14th (Poster Session VIII), and Sunday 15th (Poster Session XII) from 14:00 to 15:30. The session of your poster presentation is announced on-line and will be printed in the Book of Abstracts. Authors will be requested to present their posters during the poster sessions. The posters will be displayed for one day in the dedicated hall of the venue and must be in place by 11:00. Presenters must remove their posters at the end of each day and by no later than 19:00 (Friday and Saturday) and 16:00 (Sunday). The conference organizers take no responsibility for posters not removed by this time. Material to fix your poster will be distributed on site.

Abstract Submission Requirements (Deadline passed)

Please follow these guidelines in the submission of your abstract.

  • Abstract should not exceed 400 words and should not contain any figures.
  • Abstract title should appear in bold, in 14-point Times New Roman Font. Remaining text should appear in 12-point Times New Roman Font. You may include special characters (Greek letters, superscript, subscript), as needed in your prepared file.
  • Please list the authors and affiliations directly under the title, separated by one empty line. Underline the name of the presenting author.
  • Separate the authors/affiliations and beginning of the abstract narrative by one empty line.
  • For each author give the forename followed by the surname.
  • Presenting author's name should be underlined.
  • Indicate each author’s affiliation with a superscript numeral following the surname.
  • Prepare your abstract in MS Word (.doc) (preferred), Rich Text Format (.rtf) or Plain Text (.txt) prior to accessing the Registration site.
  • Use the presenter's last name and initials as the document file name for your abstract with a sequence number in case of many submissions (e.g. Lastname_IN1.doc).
  • Submitting author must provide a copy of submitted abstract to all co-authors.
